ZoÃ« offers various means to study and practice yoga through group classes, individual yoga lessons, yoga for pregnancy, workshops and retreats.
ZoÃ« has over 10 years teaching experience, and is skilful at adapting and applying the various tools and techniques of yoga to support everyones understanding and learning. When she teaches she considers your age, health, and abilities, whilst respecting your unique needs and interests.
She encourages those who study with her to build on or develop their own authentic yoga practice through the practice of Äsana (posture), prÄá¹‡ÄyÄma (breathing techniques), mantra (sound) and dhyÄna (meditation).
This approach places importance on:
- Attention to and precise application of the breath
- Careful, intelligent sequencing of postures
- Dynamic as well as static posture work
- Modification of postures to suit the individual
With correct application yoga can enable people to move towards health and mental balance.
