I have attended Irene’s Hatha yoga classes for over 18 months. The classes are friendly and accessible to all levels from beginners upwards. Irene is a caring, knowledgeable and gifted teacher who ably demonstrates different levels of asanas as we go along and encourages every participant to develop to their own desired level of attainment. In each session Irene combines bite-sized theory with a mix of stretches, exercises, relaxation and meditation to nourish the mind, body and spirit. I feel calm and refreshed after each class and would wholeheartedly recommend them.
Amazing class. I live away and come each summer as often as possible to Irene’s classes. The classes have really helped me gain better overall health. Having previously never done yoga before meeting Irene, I am
a great believer in the power of yoga in your life. If I lived 120 miles closer, I would attend every week. Love the class and everyone is so friendly and supportive.
Fabulous class that I attend during the holiday season. The class has allowed me to learn how yoga improves health and personally has helped me improve my health dramatically. Apart from the actual stretching, there is meditation and breathing that allows a fully restored mind and body. I’m very proud that I am now able to complete many poses. Irene is very careful to point out how to position your body if there are joint or mobility problems. I love the classes and everyone is so friendly. I definitely recommend Irene as an amazing yoga teacher and person. I wish… Read more »
Irene runs an excellent yoga class which I really enjoy attending. She has a very positive attitude and teaches well, being aware of each individual’s needs and abilities. The sessions are varied and well-rounded; even covering tips on nutrition. I feel uplifted after attending a session even after the worst of days and I am achieving my goal of maintaining my flexibility and balance into my sixties.
As a fitness and health professional I think it is important to share good practice, this is a fantastic yoga session! Great instructor, fantastic atmosphere, no pressure to kill yourself or bend yourself double, lovely method of feedback. All round 5*
Fantastic to know there are amazing instructors out there
Highly recommended
Lovely class and always a warm welcome from Irene and her husband. I’ve been attending Irene’s class at the North Sea Observatory for a few months now. It’s a wonderful settings even in the dark evenings, I can’t wait to be able to see the beach and sea once the lighter evenings come. I did a little yoga when I was younger and have returned to it to improve my core strength and flexibility. I always leave the class feeling relaxed and the aches in my lower back are eased for the rest of the week!
I can honestly say that Irene’s class is the best I have ever been to. We practised for a long time and I felt amazing at the end.
As a beginner it’s always nerve wracking going to a new class but she instantly made me feel relaxed, welcomed and capable. Irene is one of a kind so not only is it great to practice with her but to know her. Cant recommend enough.
