A warm welcome to our yoga sessions in Downham Market.  Experience a renewed sense of health and well-being in a welcoming yoga group.  You will receive expert guidance from yoga teacher Amy Rowe.  Amy has taught yoga in the area for more than a decade and is a British Wheel of Yoga qualified instructor.

The classes are hatha yoga based.  All lessons consist of breathing techniques, yoga strengthening and stretching and a guided relaxation at the end of class.

The classes are suitable for all ages and most abilities.

I’ve been attending Amy’s yoga class for 7 years now (I started as a complete novice) and it has greatly improved my strength, balance and flexibility. The atmosphere in the classes is calm and welcoming. Amy pays great attention to meeting the needs of everyone in the class, whether you are new to yoga or experienced, and always offers variations of postures to help you find the one which is right for you. Have been attending classes for a number of years now and it never fails to amaze me that Amy s sessions are completely different each time , we never know what’ve to expect which is fantastic . Classes always have a theme which is explained at the start of each term . The themes are appropriate to aspects of our lives and to the time of year. We work hard without realising it! I have become more flexible and my balance has improved . I always look forward to class and each new experience.

I joined Any’s class in November 2010 following an extremely difficult time in life, I was a complete novice but Amy soon made me feel welcome, Amy’s enthusiam, energy and commitment makes it so easy to “go with the flow”. I really enjoy the themes and explanations and am always able to relate this to my every day life. Thanks to Amy and her clear instructions and support I have found over time I have been able to use the postures and breathing exercises to help my through some stressful times, I always look forward to Wedneday evenings!

I attend Amy’s Thursday morning class and I look forward to it every week. I love the combination of meditation and different styles of yoga. Amy puts so much time and dedication into creating the most varied of sessions (with such great a selection of music too) that it makes you wish the class would last longer each week. I have been going to Amy’s yoga classes for almost ten years and have benefited greatly from doing so. It is so good for my mind, body and soul. Always a challenge, but never boring as Amy changes it up termly.
I would recommend Amy’s classes to everyone.

I have been attending Amy’s yoga classes for eleven years now which says it all really. Over the years I have become more flexible and have more stamina and able to hold the asanas with more control and strength. Amy is warm and welcoming with a sense of humour and leads every class with patience and calm. Each yoga session leaves me feeling both full of energy and deeply relaxed.

I’ve been attending Amy’s classes for nearly seven years now. I joined as a complete novice without any prior knowledge of the discipline (having been advised it would be beneficial for back problems) but under Amy’s amazing coaching, it has turned out to be so much more than that. I recommenced yoga when Amy began her online classes. It’s great to be back. As ever, Amy is a brilliant teacher, first class at describing & demonstrating each pose & radiating a total commitment to class members, emphasising that there are alternative poses, which may suit the individual better. I look forward to regaining my flexibility.

Given the meagre percentile of men to women that attend Yoga classes it can be a little intimidating as a guy to join. My anxiety was quickly elevated however, as Amy and the members of her class provide a warm, friendly environment in which to learn. Amy is an exceptional instructor, carefully balancing varying degrees of physical health, ages and experience, all delivered with knowledgeable, articulate and warmly humorous instruction.
