Birthlight pregnancy and postnatal yoga classes taught by AnnetheMidwife. Usually in Guisborough and Saltburn but during lock down classes are taught live online - so now everyone can join in regardless of where you live! These caring, relaxed and nurturing classes are a weekly support for you throughout your pregnancy and during the postnatal period. Pregnancy yoga is suitable from over 14 weeks. The poses and stretches can be adapted if you are struggling with pelvic pain, backache, sickness etc. Taught by an experienced midwife you will learn breathing techniques and optimum positions for labour as well as strategies to overcome anxiety. Each class finishes with a delicious relaxation. Postnatal yoga is usually taught in a block of classes and baby can come along too. Or, during lock down it may be that another adult in your home can care for them whilst you enjoy a much needed hour of me time. Please get in touch to find out more.
Pregnancy Yoga is Tuesdays 10-11.30am and Thursdays 6-7.30pm
Post natal courses run every 6-8 weeks for 5 weeks.
