I offer Dru Yoga classes to revitalise, restore and relax.  During the pandemic I am teaching online sessions and when life returns to normal I hope to resume classes in and around the beautiful market towns of Richmond, North Yorkshire and Barnard Castle, County Durham.

Dru Yoga is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.  I love Dru Yoga because it has the power to transform people’s lives.  It not only increases energy levels, but has been proven to ease back pain, reduce stress and calm the mind.  With regular class attendance and practice people experience an overall improvement in their health, a greater sense of well-being and a feeling of empowerment to realise their full potential.

A typical Dru Yoga class consists of a short activation, to get the circulation flowing and to get the body moving.  This is followed by an Energy Block Release sequence.  This is a series of beautiful flowing movements aimed at increasing the flow of energy around the body and releasing any tension from the muscles and joints.  A session will normally also include breath work and a posture.  Every session finishes with a relaxation.

I am also a fully qualified Reiki practitioner.  Reiki is an alternative therapy that reduces stress and promotes healing through relaxation and the re-balancing of energy in the body.  You can sit in a chair or lie on a treatment table.  You remain fully clothed and the therapy is non-intrusive.  You will feel no pain or discomfort. A typical Reiki session will last between 40 – 60 minutes.  Stress, anxiety, depression and pain are just some of the conditions that can be helped by Reiki therapy.
