K~Yoga has been providing hatha yoga classes in villages around York since 2007.
Sessions focus on posture and how to blend strength and flexibility to work safely and enjoyably towards yoga postures and vinyasa flow (where one posture flows effortlessly into the next using the breath). Relaxation time is given at the beginning and end of each class, and ease and awareness are encouraged throughout practice.
Students discover through experience that they can achieve greater levels of strength, balance, suppleness and energy through breathing into postures tailored to their capability. Focussing on the breath gives the wonderful feeling of just \\\'being\\\' which with practise can be taken into daily life.
