Yoga is not about being flexible. In fact it’s not even about getting more flexible. At the end of the day, how does it help you if you can put your leg around your head? Is that needed in normal daily life? Not in mine it isn’t. In my life, I pick up my child a lot, I sit at a desk for longs periods of time, I like to go to the gym, go for walks and generally like to move well without pain or restrictions.
I teach yoga for people who want to look after their own bodies.

My focus is to improve the functional movement of your body. What this means is that your bones, muscles and joints are strong, mobile and flexible in all of the right proportions so that your body feels good.
The benefits of having a well functioning body are reflected in your overall wellbeing. Your mind and body always work together, so by keeping the body happy we keep the mind happy too.
