Unlock Chronic low back, hip, neck and shoulder pain with Gentle Somatic Yoga®Classes. When we hold pain and tension in our back, we lose flexibility and control of movement and restrict our ability to move freely. In order to restore flexibility and stability in the spine we need to learn how to re pattern the messages from the brain to muscles. Gentle Somatic Yoga® uses a revolutionary system of gentle movements, No Stretching, No Pain, and staying within your range of movement, making it an easy way of releasing tension, tightness and stiffness in the body. Gentle Somatic Yoga® (GSY) is an exploration through movement that is revolutionary in its ability to improve health, wellbeing, quality of life, and personal performance. GSY incorporates slow, mindful movements that amplify bodily awareness. This allows the practitioner to self-correct and permanantly release persistent stress-based patterns from within their body (Soma). The restorative sequences, called Somatic Movement Flows®, are ideal for unwinding stiffness, pain & postural imbalances, and will dramatically increase flexibility through brain-to-muscle re-education. From this place of new-found freedom, we naturally return to our generative state of peace and wellbeing. My classes are starting in 2018 in Watnall Strelley and Wollaton. And then a new 5 week program starts in January 2019. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Under 18 years must be acompanied by an adult What can I bring into the event? Please bring a yoga mat or something similar also a blanket and a bath towel. Also wear comfortable loose clothing and socks, or stretchy leggings and tea shirts, make sure you bring something warm too, as we lay on the floor you can cool down quite quickly. Refunds for a course can only be made up to 7 days before the start of the course. If you miss a class you can attend an alternate class on another day. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? You can either bring a printed ticket or show your digital ticket on your phone when you attend.
