Fluid Fox Yoga is about energising, strengthening and restoring the body to help increase balance, flexibility, coordination and mental focus. Classes are accessible to all ages and abilities. Bespoke private 1:1 tuition available. Expect to develop a deeper awareness of the body to a backdrop of contemporary music with a taster on pranayama (breath work).
Rhi has been a practicing yogi for 8 years but now wants to share her time and practice with others so they too can receive the wonderful health benefits and noticeable increase in strength and flexibility. Yoga allowed Rhi to move her body in ways which she was never capable of before, it helped alleviate her knee and hip injuries and hugely influenced her outlook on life. In April 2019, Rhi completed her 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training in Scotland with Zenways Yoga School, led by the wonderful Zen Buddhist, Daizan Skinner, and his assistant, Samantha Warrington.
Zen Yoga refers to a variety of physical and energetic practices that can be found within the Zen Buddhist tradition. Zen Yoga in particular, emphasises three intertwined areas – physical alignment, the flow of energy in the body and awareness or mindfulness. The Vinyasa and Yin based classes Rhi teaches are designed to open and unblock the body, develop a deeper awareness of the body, and serve as an opportunity to practice “living in the now” and being present in the moment.
Private 1:1 tuition is available with Rhi. She currently teaches mixed ability classes in Upper Rissington, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow on the Wold.
