About Simply Balance

My name is Natasha, I'm a qualified Hatha yoga teacher, MBSR Mindfulness teacher and a member of Yoga Alliance Professionals.
I teach a 60-minute Mindfulness-based class and a Hatha yoga class. Mindfulness helps to build awareness, lowers stress responses and more. At the beginning of class, I introduce mindfulness movements after which we go into Hatha Yoga working through some cardiovascular postures stretching the fascia connective tissue to encourage relaxation we introduce supportive passive restorative postures at the end of practice to relieve the body out of the fight or flight response enabling lower cortisol levels. I have recently started teaching classes at Alfred Drive Community Centre and Civic Hall, if the times are not convenient for you why not come and join me for zoom sessions online.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my yoga classes with Natasha. Not only are they great for the body but also very relaxing for the mind. The meditation and setting intentions at the beginning of class is a lovely touch. Natasha is always happy to tailor classes for her students needs, which make the sessions more personal and helpful in tackling any challenges or areas we’d like to work on. She has a lovely, gentle energy that is very welcoming and makes the sessions enjoyable.

Natasha is a fabulous yoga teacher – she’s very clear and patient, extremely knowledgeable and calm. I loved my sessions with her and found them challenging and fun. She also talked to me about wellness and nutrition, taking a very holistic approach to health and wellness which is very valuable.

Natasha has a very solid work ethic and is very determined to see great things happen. Working in some of her yoga classes in the past Natasha is very devoted to the art of technique and development. Always gently pushing people to their limits by offering different variants of the same technique and giving people a good choice of options on how to perfect their yoga skills. Plus she is a kind soul and will guide and support all guests accordingly a truly great practioner.
