About Flexible Mindset Yoga
Ali James has been practising yoga for over twenty years, after injuring her back.
Understanding the incredible benefits, she is now a movement enhancement specialist, using yoga and other training to help people gain (or regain) better flexibility, range of motion, strength and performance and to prevent/rehabilitate from injury - whether they are elite athletes or normal folk, who just want to maintain an active lifestyle whatever their age or disability.
She enjoys helping people be stronger, more active, resistant to injury and reach their performance goals. The main purpose of her business is to help people move better.
Her ethos is that yoga is not about how photogenic you look, how far you can contort yourself into unobtainable positions, or channelling any belief system; it is a fundamental investment in better movement, enhanced performance, greater flexibility and increased strength wherever you are and whatever you do in your life.
Qualifying in a particularly rigorous YTT200 hrs course, with Waking Minds Yoga, she is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and has an accredited Certificate in The Science of Teaching Yoga to Athletes from The Institute of Yoga Sports Science. She concentrates mainly on private client work, but can offer small group classes, workshops, retreats and other bespoke sessions.
