I had heard about the benefits of yoga for many years yet playing and training in competitive sport, I never had time to give it a try. When I fell pregnant 9 years ago, I decided to give it a go not only for the physical benefits, but hoping I would learn how to focus my mind for the labour!!! I started yoga with my sister and my mum, and really haven't looked back. I am a proud mum to two wonderful children.

It was in 2015 that I decided to take the next step and complete my teacher training. I was fortunate to travel with my sister to Morocco and complete my 200hr teacher training with Yoga Haven. My background in sport and career as a paramedic gives me a good understanding of the human body and is key to understanding safe yoga practice.

For all of us life is busy and hectic. We all have plans and dreams,hopes and aspirations which we juggle and compromise as we cope with day to day life. Stepping onto a yoga mat gives us all much needed time; time to just be and time to turn our focus inwards and help us on this journey we call life.

Each of our journeys through both life and yoga are unique. It is forever a practice, challenging your mind and body in different ways each time you step onto your mat, with no two practices ever being the same. What I love about teaching yoga is being part of that journey, inspiring others, guiding your practice and doing it with a smile! I have taught in some amazing spaces and feel very blessed as a teacher.

My classes in the South Shropshire area are mainly around the gorgeous town of Church Stretton. I predominantly teach Vinyassa Flow and Yin Yoga to all abilities. I run some Yoga Nidra classes also and a current project of mine is developing some local day retreats, so please follow my Facebook page for upcoming events.  1-2-1 classes or group bookings for Hen/Stag do's available also, please get in touch!

I’ve been doing yoga on and off for nearly 10 years (I can still only just touch my toes) mainly to stay flexible and strong for sports. Candice’s classes have really help me improve my flexibility and core strength. For me she has the right balance between the physical yoga and the spiritual yoga. She uses breathing techniques, good music and her words to remind us to focus inwardly and to be in the now, this has been really powerful for me. It’s a lovely class, wherever you are on your yoga journey

Candice came to teach us for an hour at my best friends’ hen do 6 weeks ago. From the outset, her communication was great and was so approachable. The class accommodated our requirements as a group and was so inclusive of everyone there – some having done yoga before and a few having done no yoga. The class was so lovely, taught outside on the grass as we managed to get a gap in the rain! Would highly recommend. Thank you!!
