Yoga Kind is run by Polly. I have been practising yoga for 30 years and teaching for 5 and a half years. My style is hatha (electic) with considerations for comfortable and appropriate practice for the individual body/correct alignment. Safety of practice are priorities for me and my class is carefully planned; I believe that a class of miscellaneous postures done incorrectly will cause more harm then good.
I offer a modification for every single posture so that the yoga is suitable for all.
I trained with the Real Yoga School (500 hours), the British School (both accredited by the Independent Yoga Network), Viniyoga foundation level and Pranayama foundation level; total training duration of 5 years plus ongoing CPD (recently with the expert Donna Farhi);experience gained over many years. I try to bring a little humour to my class. You will find that you work as hard as you need. A typical 90 min class will involve up to 70 minutes of warm up and poses, 10 minutes of breathing practices and 10 minutes of relaxation.
