I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years and have been teaching for 2 years. I hold a 200-hour certification; my study was with Zen Buddhist Master, Daizan Roshi. I'm DBS checked and teach privately to teens and adults as well as teaching to the public at the community hall. I also teach at a local prestigious boarding school.
Each class begins with a few minutes of mindfulness and body awareness.
Then we move on to a gentle flow, with emphasis on breath, movement and feeling your way into the poses. We build into a good practice to warm the body and it can be challenging, but there js always plenty of opportunity to take the class at your own pace/options to do more or less.
Winter classes incorporate candlelight.
Classes are non-competitive and have a lovely sense of camaraderie.
£10 drop-in. Blocks of 6 classes can be purchased at a discounted price.
I have mats you can use if you don't have one.
