I started practising yoga in 1995 and undertook my first teacher training in 2003 in a Sivananda ashram in southern India. The course was intensive, but I felt there was so much to learn. I had the opportunity to start teaching right way in a beautiful out door studio in southern Goa, which I did for 3 months before returning to the U.K.
I completed my 2nd course of teacher training at The Life Centre, now Yoga Campus in 2005. The course was amazing and enabled me to meet, practice and learn with some incredible teachers such as Rod Stryker, Judith Lasater, Liz Lark, and Sarah Litton. The course has been accredited by The British Wheel of Yoga, who I have my insurance with.
I continued my training by specialising in Pregnancy yoga and then Postnal mother and baby yoga with the wonderful Uma Dinsmor-Tuli who is an inspiration! I started teaching Pregnancy yoga in 2006. These classes are a joy to teach and a wonderful way of connecting with your changing body and your baby.
