Anita’s gentle Iyengar class in Torquay has been perfect for me. The practice of Iyengar can be adapted for all bodies, all levels of fitness and Anita’s classes offer a whole body lengthen and strengthen, with much individual attention to enable us to adapt where necessary. We end with asanas and breathing which help integrate and relax the body with a gentle meditation. I invariably go home feeling calm, energised and definitely taller than when I arrived (I have a thoraco-lumbar scoliosis).
