Stillness Moves
This is a contemplative yoga practice, and although quite simple, it's best suited for those with some experience. It is, however, open to anyone with a desire to practise listening to their inner wisdom.
It is designed as a meditation, with students led through reclined and seated yoga-based postures (some yin, some restorative) as well as gentle, intuitive movement. The intention of the practice is to invite the mind and body to ease itself away from 'fight or flight mode' and to rest in a deeper, more open and compassionate way of being.
Adelaide has been practising and studying yoga and Insight meditation for over 20 years. She was trained as a yoga instructor in 2014 by the wise and lovely Esther Ekhart, and has been teaching ever since as a way to share the love of what she continues to learn through her own practice. Her gentle and creative teaching style allows students to explore the connections of body, mind, and spirit with a heartfelt curiosity.
She leads a Monday evening practice in Killearn, conducts private one-to-one sessions, and teaches both local and international workshops and retreats.
She is also a contemporary mixed media artist. www.adelaideshalhope.com
