SEPTEMBER 2020 – ONE WEEKLY MIXED ABILITY CLASS IN EYE SUFFOLK IN A SPACIOUS, SAFE SPACE WITH LIMITED NUMBERS
LIVE ONLINE CLASSES CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ON ZOOM. BOTH IN VINYASA FLOW AND MIXED ABILITY. FOUR CLASSES PER WEEK, MORNING AND EVENING. EMAIL OR CALL FOR MORE DETAILS.
Fully qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga (NVQ Level 4 Teaching Diploma) Susie Wonfor offers weekly classes to all levels of student, in a style which combines a traditional hatha yoga foundation with flow and sequencing elements. The breath is integral to the yoga practice, in which you will also learn basic breathing techniques, relaxation and over time, pranayama and meditation. Susie likes to explore specific postures more deeply, allowing you to confidently develop a home practice. The class caters for complete beginners who work with a safe and foundational practice, whilst offering deeper and more advanced posture work to the more experienced. Susie asks for completion of a basic health questionnaire before beginning the class, so she can factor in any health issues and ensure you both benefit from your practice and can work safely. Susie very much welcomes both men and women to the class. Susie also provides a full range of equipment including mats, blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets. Susie is a conscientious and informative instructor. She considers everyone’s comfort and wellbeing throughout the class. She incorporates a proper ‘warm up’ and relaxation so I always feel the benefits but no discomfort after a class.
The weekly benefits are subtle but positive- my psychological health really benefits from this weekly contact. Susie creates a lovely balance between practice and theory, explaining why. The opportunity to practice mindfulness is an added bonus.
