About Hot Yoga & Mat Pilates

The Red Hot Series is our signature Hot class

The series focuses predominantly on static postures, with perhaps one or two short flows included. The 90 minute class starts with 45 minutes of standing postures, followed by a 45 minute floor series, with a shorter floor series in the 75 minute classes.

The class is particularly suitable for beginners, whilst always including progressive postures for those ready to step up their practice to the next level. If you are new to Hot Yoga, we recommend you start here!

Modifications and options are provided throughout the class for all levels and abilities. The temperature in the Red Hot class is between 38 – 42C with a humidity level of 40% – 50%.

Open classes are suitable for all levels, including complete beginners.

 

Mat Pilates Open

‘Open’ classes are suitable for every level and ability, these are suitable classes for beginners due to the modifications given but be prepared for some challenges!

In the Mat classes we work through the Pilates ‘basics’, which are a repertoire of traditional Pilates exercises designed to retrain the correct activation of the ‘inner’ core muscles in order to prevent/rehabilitate back pain or injury, improve posture and strengthen the core.

All these benefits can really enhance a regular yoga practice, especially if that pose you are almost reaching requires that extra bit of core strength!

These classes are also great for pre/post natal or anyone completely new to Pilates.
