Each week we follow a theme, it may be the moon, sun, chakras, self study, opening, cooling, grounding, warming or whatever comes up! We don’t take ourselves too seriously in these classes, humour is important Therapeutic movement of the spine and limbs, breath work techniques & relaxation bring balance in our nervous systems. Breathing and relaxation are two keys to emotional balance, they help us handle strong emotional reactions and recover from them. Simple tools to take in to everyday life.
Teaching and continuing to study Yoga for over 20 years has bought me to the recuperative, restorative and rest element in Yoga. Restorative Yoga is a ‘work in’ rather than out. Helpful to runners, cyclists or any joint bearing physical exercises. Motion changes emotion and Yoga helps all other forms of exercise.
