I teach traditional yoga postures (Hatha) and movements to help with flexibility, motion, balance and strength – all great for keeping the body healthy and the mind at peace.
Breathing and relaxation techniques are a fundamental part of our classes helping to maintain a healthy supply of oxygen to all the cells of the body, particularly the brain where good breathing practice has a positive effect on mood and keeping a calm attitude to life.
My belief in the benefits of the beautiful teachings of yogic philosophy mean that we always include little precious jewels of this ancient wisdom for living life with a more positive and compassionate outlook.
My name is Pat Leeson. I am the founder of Shenyo, and a teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga. I have trained and continue to train in both the Yogic and Buddhist traditions of Yoga. I am also a Shiatsu Practitioner and Qi Gong teacher so my yoga teaching is infused with western anatomical knowledge and ancient Daoist wisdom.
