About Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga yoga is an energetic and dynamic form of yoga. Movement is synchronised with the breath as you travel through a set series of therapeutic postures.

What are the benefits? Through steady regular practice, Ashtanga yoga can be seen as a meditation in movement, a way of bringing about a sense of well-being, not to mention a great all round cardiovascular exercise; building strength, stamina, flexibility and tone.

James Critchlow is a full-time yoga teacher, who has taught for 33 years and practised for 45 years

Friday 6.30pm - 8.00pm Self-Practice drop-in class Birmingham Buddhist Centre (Throughout year) NB No class 19 April

Sun 10.30am - 12.00 noon Self-Practice drop-in class Birmingham Buddhist Centre (Throughout year) NB No class 21 April
