About Yoga Wood Green Prana / Vinyasa Flow

Prana / Vinyasa flow yoga with sequences designed to awaken your mind, body & soul to include deep meditation with small sound bath every Thursday at 7.30pm – 9.30 pm & alternate Tuesdays 730pm – 930pm. Both beginners through to advanced welcome. Modifications given for poses so all abilities catered for. Classes are open to all, friendly, approachable, non judgemental & non competitive. I particularly emphasise the breathe and the healing aspects of yoga from a spiritual perspective.

The general style of Thursday class is pranayama followed by one hour 15 mins vinyasa / cosmic flow yoga to conclude with 30 minutes guided healing meditation and sound bath to completely relax you. Modifications put in so all levels catered for.

All classes although on a drop in basis should be pre-booked to guarantee a mat and first time attendees to prepay in advance for first class. To keep this affordable to everyone we are only charging £11 in advance and £12 on the night for this two hour event, however recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Maitri & Tasha both work with healing energies to include reiki & metatronic healing and so you will leave with the feeling of a healing session in addition to the high vibration of the gong and yoga session.

Excellent class very friendly and relaxing and challenging at the same time as Tasha says put all your troubles in a suitcase at the beginning of the class and i promise you by the end of the class that suitecase will be a lot lighter

This was my first ever yoga class after doing some basic moves from a DVD so it was good to finally have someone to point me in the right direction! Tasha the teacher is extremely encouraging and lets everyone go at their own pace, with no scarey competitiveness to aspire to. In the summer the classes are in the park and its so nice to be outside focusing on the trees while attempting your first tree pose 🙂 An affordable, friendly class for all levels. When I first started attending Tasha’s classes in the park at the beginning of the Summer it had been a long time since I’d practised yoga. Her open, friendly, style was perfect for me to reacquaint myself. Each session is varied without adding too much that’s new and the sessions are incredibly good value. I’m much looking forward to continuing indoors over the winter.

Tasha’s class is the first yoga session I ever attended, and I felt immediately accepted and welcome. Looking back, I can’t believe I was intimidated by a warm room of yogis – they’re some of the most patient, lovely people you can meet. I don’t know how she does it, but Tasha is able to instruct a class of vastly differing levels of ability. Complete novices (me) are able to stretch next to the super-advanced (that woman who was contorted into a pretzel). Great teacher and friendly class.
Affordable and pace of class not too fast, unlike some other classes I have been to.
I feel I have progressed with my practice and have gained the confidence to push myself that little bit further each time I go.
