Practising yoga during pregnancy has been proven to be hugely beneficial, both for you and your baby.
Whether you are new to yoga or already an experienced practitioner, yoga can help - keeping you fit and supple, relieving stress, helping with common pregnancy ailments, promoting restful sleep and helping you to connect with your baby.
Lushtums classes are a great way to prepare yourself for the birthing process, and include breathing techniques, birth positioning advice and movements to help to manage pain or fear during labour.
Our post-natal classes are run as short courses, with exercises increasing in strength in line with the strength of the ladies attending. Classes include simple flowing yoga sequencing as well as exercises to improve core strength, pelvic floor exercises and upper body strengthening. The classes also include movements for babies and bonding time with the babies too.
We are fully accredited by FEDANT and trained at the Lushtums (Yoga Alliance UK certified) yoga school in Brighton.
