Dru Yoga is specifically designed to be accessible to everyone regardless of flexibility and fitness. It is the perfect antidote to the stresses of modern life. My aim is for students to feel supported in working with their own bodies so that they can fully honour themselves and to leave class feeling relaxed, refreshed and replenished.
Students can expect a ‘classic’ Dru class beginning with activations to energise the body followed by flowing sequence and posture work and completing with a guided relaxation. Classes will often incorporate elements to specifically strengthen or stretch individual muscles or muscle groups and may also include simple breathing practices and short and simple guided meditations.
My name is Lyned and I qualified as a Dru Yoga teacher in 2010. Wiithout a doubt the most satisfying aspect of teaching is hearing students say how well they sleep, how they move more easily and how much better they feel after attending class.
On a personal level I have found Dru Yoga to be an incredible tool to help me take control over all aspects of my life and support my well-being at all levels.
