About Nikki Lewis Yoga

Classes focus on personal inquiry and exploration, with an emphasis on compassion and love. I encourage students to listen to their bodies and start to let go of striving, comparing and contrasting! The ego has become the guiding force of much of modern day yoga, my intention is to help students to connect honestly to the self to create a more ‘heart centered’ approach.

 Expect to experience more then just the asana (physical practice), within each class you will explore meditation, swadyaya (self study) elements of yoga philosophy and history, pranayama (breath control), and energy work (exploring the effects on the subtle body).

The physical body will be guided through postures (asana) to work the circulatory system, respiratory system, endocrine system and lymphatic system. You will strengthen muscles, increase mobility and flexibility with a focus to find a sense of steadiness and ease within the body.

‘Sthira Sukham Asanam’ 

All enabling and encouraging each individual to open up to their personal yoga journey and be happy with exactly where they are right now!
