My yoga journey started 7 years ago. I started attending the class at my local gym as at the time I was suffering with stress and anxiety, like most I was looking for an outlet for modern day life. Until one day my curiosity started to shine though. I then started to branch out to attended other classes of all different styles of yoga all over the country. My passion for yoga became so strong that I realised I wanted to help others use this ancient practice to help them also. Our modern world is so complex that yoga is a way of slowing things down and taking time out for oneself.
In my personal practice I have done well over 500 plus hours of yoga. I have attended, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Relaxation, Bikram, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Wheel Yoga, Hot yoga, Yoga flow, Kundalini, Power Yoga. I have also attended various workshops including Handstand and inversions.
These days my favourite type of Yoga in my personnel practice is Yin. I like to slow down and hold my postures for longer enabling me to go deeper in to the core of my muscle structure but also deeper in to my mind using my breath.
Im a firm believer that yoga, meditation and mindfulness should be integrated in to the school curriculum to help from a young age with the modern day life and modern technology children are exposed to from a young age not just adulthood.
Im able to teach a variety of yoga, from slow gentle yoga, Yin yoga, Vinyasa yoga, Children yoga (ages from 3-12yrs) Hot yoga. I teach at various locations across Worcestershire. Please see my website for timetables details and how to contact me.
