Vinysas Krama (ViniYoga)

Yoga Teacher in Luton, Bedfordshire

The term Vinyāsa ‘to place in a special way’ is used to describe the process of moving through an intelligent sequence in the correct direction. This is achieved by working with Ä€sana (posture), Mudrā (locks), Prānāyāma (regulated breathing exercises) and Mantra (sound) in intelligence sequences. Krama is the term used to describe the steps within the sequence.
Applying Vinyāsa Krama intelligently allows each student to learn and develop in a safe and methodical manner; moving at their own pace and relevant to their circumstance. The term for applying this system to the individual is viniyoga.
With long-term practice we are moving towards a comfortable and stable seated posture so prānāyāma (regulated breathing exercises) and dhyāna (meditation) can be practiced with stability.
