YMS is fantastic.
The location is good, inside it’s very chic and chill, kind of a converted barn vibe which I didn’t think mattered to me but actually, I love dwelling on that to clear my mind of the outside world. Gyms and village halls etc. just don’t give me that.
The teacher is an awesome mix between a normal woman and a stereotypical yoga type, she clearly attributes a lot of her current health to finding yoga and explains the body part health stuff realistically so we know how it will actually help us, rather than trying to sound fancy.
Pricing is pretty reasonable, cheaper to bulk buy which I like as an encouragement to go. She provides yoga mat etc. too which is a major factor for me as a newbie.
I like to look at it as a wage comparison when I spend money, if I go for a multibuy, the price can go down to £5 per session, as the sessions are longer than an hour (maybe 80mins) then it’s costing me less than national minimum wage
The poses aren’t excessive, it’s really an all body types kind of place, she tell you what to do with each body part and builds into something before starting what the pose is which is something I super appreciate.
