Living Yoga

My name is Melanie Henson. I did my 3 year teacher training with FRYOG (Friends of Yoga) and qualified in 2009. I have been teaching since then at classes locally. It is my passion to teach yoga and I love seeing how people enjoy the way it makes them feel. I am continually learning from my students and from continuing courses and other yoga teachers. There is always something new to learn! The body and how it functions fascinates me and I am always in awe of the power of yoga that transforms the way my body and my mind function. Not only does yoga have a physical effect on the body but it steadies the mind, helps us deal with life better and adds a magical quality to life!

You do not have to be flexible, skinny or young to come to my classes. All abilities welcome as my classes are gentle and each person practices at the level that is right for them. We focus on slow, gentle movements, steady breathing and relaxation. The classes are mixed abilities and I always try to offer alternatives for postures that a person may find too challenging. I even have some students who practice the whole class seated in chairs so if you are unable to get down onto the floor then a chair based practice is an option for you.

Venues:

Tuesday:  Finedon Junior School  7.30- 8.45pm

£26 for 4 week block

Wednesday: Mears Ashby (near Welingborough) 1pm – 2.30pm

£28 for 4 week block

Class Fees:
Fees are payable every 4 weeks on an ongoing basis. Classes are not run on a drop in basis. You may come along for a free trial session before you decide to commit to the 4 week block. Give me a call if you would like to come along so I can look out for you.
