About JLP Vitality Yoga
I am an Iyengar trained Yoga teacher and have been a Yoga student since 2000 and teaching since 2004. I have been teaching in Clackmannan since 2015, when I first moved to Scotland. I previously taught two classes a week in Bristol. I specialize in adapting yoga asanas (poses), with the use of props, according to the individuals ability, taking into account any specific needs that the students may have.
Besides offering private tuition in peoples homes I am also available to offer my services to Sports or other activity groups. As most people know, yoga is complimentary not only to every day life, but to all activities, as regular practice helps to focus the mind and increase flexibility. Care for the individual is paramount in my teaching.

Jackie was my yoga teacher for for seven years in Bristol. I was in one of her small classes. This meant that she could give individual attention to her students. She always explained and demonstrated the exercises/positions before we did them so we were aware of the aims and pitfalls. Along with this she provided a range of equipment to ensure that we students were practising to our optimum.
She is a warm, enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher
Jackie taught me yoga when she was in Bristol. She is sensitive to individuals but will challenge you to. A great friendly space.
An excellent class. Jackie clearly explains and demonstrates exercises and tailors them to individual needs. Small classes mean she can give individual attention, which sne does warmly and sensitively. The exercises though are challenging but very enjoyable.
I joined Jackie’s class as a 64 year old ‘yoga virgin’, not quite knowing what to expect, but she was so welcoming and encouraging that I soon settled in. When a pose is too advanced Jackie always has an alternative method allowing you to progress and the small class size ensures everyone receives personal attention. Nearly two years on I am much more supple and look forward to my gentle weekly workout.
