Real Yoga for Real People like you! This class is for anyone who wants to improve their flexibility and tone their muscles, to learn to breath slower and deeper and to relax more easily.

Yoga is really helpful if you struggle with anxiety, depression or insomnia as well as many physical problems. Hatha Yoga is designed to help you with all these and more! Most people feel the benefit very quickly even if they only do Yoga once a week in this class.

Beginners are very welcome as all postures can be adapted to suit your flexibility.

I'm Ruth Chambers and I've been practising Yoga for over 45 years and teaching for 21 years. I have enjoyed many teachers over the years and my classes reflect their varied teaching. I moved from the Midlands to Devon in 2016 and love it’s beautiful countryside and the very friendly people.

These classes are friendly and sociable and in normal times we enjoy coffee together after the class and go out together for a meal a couple of times a year – do come and join us.

Please bring a mat if you have one and wear stretchy clothes such as t-shirt and jogging bottoms or leggings. It’s useful to have a blanket or throw to use as a prop or to wrap up in on colder mornings as it’s easier to relax when you are warm. A cushion or block is useful for some postures too.

Online classes - when running cost £9 per week payable by bank transfer.
