Yoga for Relaxation aims to reduce tension and stress, based on Restorative Yoga. The classes are kept to a small number in order to keep things quiet and relaxing, so early booking is therefore recommended. Everyone's welcome, no previous yoga experience required.
What is Restorative Yoga?
Restorative yoga is a series of postures where you are supported by pillows/bolsters so your body can fully relax without strain, helping to remove fatigue. The postures are accompanied by breathing techniques which help to calm the racing mind.
All classes start with some easy stretching to ease out tension areas of the body, and finish with a deep relaxation which will leave you calm yet energised.
The classes run in 4 week blocks and help you maintain a level of stress reduction.
Offered in 4 week blocks usually on Sundays - 9.30am - 11am (90 minutes) Also 11.30 - 1pm if sufficient interest
£30 for 4 weeks.
