A straight-forward approach to yoga with a cardio and athletic sequence of 26 postures called Dynamic Yoga which is accessible to everyone and can be adjusted for beginners or any level you want to work at
Brighton based private tuition at your home, online or my studio. Small scheduled online classes with a maximum of 10 people
You will work every muscle, tendon, ligament, joint and internal organ in the entire body including your nervous system giving you an incredible sense of well being
Yoga slows down age related disease and is designed to reduce the risk of injury with the focus on root foundation and breath connection
My aim is to help you to be able practice independently and bring yoga into your lifestyle by one to one coaching and regular group classes or simply to improve your practice

Always been a Pilates person myself , but tried this out & it really is amazing in 2 ways: 1. Feels like a real workout, heart really gets pumping at times. 2. Because of the focus on breathing it also really chills you out. I’ve done 3 sessions now & it just makes you feel so good for the rest of the day. Give it a go if you’ve never tried it before.
I have been having yoga classes weekly with Mike for the past 2 months. I have had many teachers in the past but Mike’s classes are by far the best. I never feel under pressure with his relaxed method of teaching. My yoga has improved immensely and I can definitely feel the positive effects in my daily life.
Mike often sends us pictures from our zoom class of our postures and tips on how to improve them. As from next week,I am doing 2 classes a week. I would highly recommend Roots Yoga and Mikes teaching, definitely 5 stars!
I have been attending Roots yoga for a month now and can honestly say that after every session I feel relaxed and at the same time feel that I have had a proper workout. I would highly recommend trying a class!

The most demanding but enjoyable yoga I’ve ever taken! Plenty of emphasis on each stage of a posture, often not going as far as the full but makes you work incredibly hard with individual advice, I’ve built up to 2 classes a week and I really notice the difference. Highly recommended!
Mike is a great teacher, thoroughly recommended his online classes , an hour of great stretch and mindfulness. A time out for yourself in this crazy world, always feel so zen afterwards.
I am loving my yoga practice with Mike. He is patient and encouraging helping you get the most out of your practice, I’m hooked!
I have now been doing yoga at Roots
Yoga for 3 months, it is such as a work out but I feel calm and fit for the rest of the day. Mike is a very patient teacher and explains every position very clear, and allows you to go at your own pace.
