I went to my first yoga class with Rosie on the recommendation of a friend who thought I could benefit from increased flexibility (I had a recurrent sports injury). A friend recommended I try out Do Your OM Thing Yoga and I’m pleased they did. I had been to a few yoga classes, but was by no means an experienced yogi when I went to my first ‘Broga’ Style Yoga class with Rosie. The style of yoga is strong, but very suitable for a relative beginner like I was. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy various sports and am keen to maintain my levels of fitness, even when I can’t be out trekking or playing football. Rosie’s classes are fun and exploratory, with the emphasis on listening to what are bodies are telling us for our individual enjoyment and well-being rather than aiming to achieve an externalised image of what particular postures should look like.
I find this approach refreshing and pressure-free and believe as a result have achieved more than I expected. Highly recommended!
