Using Ayurvedic knowledge to understand your own unique body and mind constitution to help guide a one on one Yoga practice.

I have been living in Asia for the past two years and have gathered experience of both Yoga and Ayurveda. They are known as sister sciences in India, as the knowledge of Ayurveda and people’s unique body and mind constitutions helps to guide which Yoga practice will be most beneficial to different people at different times. 

We start with a discussion on what you would like to get out of the sessions, and then go through some basic principles of Ayurveda to help you with your general understanding. Next comes filling out some questions to help us see what your body and mind constitution is, and then seeing whether or not you are aggravated in any specific areas. We use this information to guide the Yoga practice. 

With regards to life beyond the sessions, we discuss your current behavioural habits including eating, sleeping, exercise and emotional responses. From this we can mutually create some practical adjustments that we feel will have a positive impact on your life. 

The sessions can last anywhere from one to two hours depending on your availability, and prices depend on location. I currently have no fixed space, so sessions can take place at your home or some neutral venue. 

Whether you have a specific health problem or just interested in general wellness, the combination of Yogic exercise and Ayurvedic diet can be of real help!
