yogaforbacks.co.uk is an educational social enterprise website, promoting the ‘Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs’ programme, proven effective for chronic low back pain by The University of York (Department of Health Sciences) research.

Results of this randomized controlled trial research generously funded by Arthritis Research UK have been published in top journals. At the time of the research (2007-2011) this is internationally one of the largest scientific yoga research studies and it is certainly one of the most significant cited in hundreds of research reviews and papers. The lead yoga teaching consultants on the original research trial management team wish to share this information.
