The best thing about private yoga coaching is that there are no prerequisites – the entire class works around your level of experience and physical capabilities.
You’ll find that you progress so much quicker by having one on one attention and reap the benefits even faster than if you were in group classes.
We can focus on any areas of physical weakness or lack of flexibility you may have while also working through mental and emotional blocks that may be having a negative effect on your day to day life.
ABOUT YUMIKO
I first began experimenting with yoga on and off (various styles and studios) in 2000 because I was told it was ‘good for me’, however, I often found myself comparing my ability with others and feeling discouraged so decided to quit since it felt like I was only going out of obligation.
Finally, in 2014 I discovered Vinyasa Yoga. It clicked with my body and I began a consistent practice which gave me the space to explore the potential of my mind and body.
Having seen the transformative power of yoga in action, I decided to undertake my yoga teacher training in 2016 and am now a registered yoga teacher (RYT200) with Yoga Alliance. Also being a meditation lover, I incorporate meditation and visualisation during a yoga class.
