Sarah teaches Iyengar yoga in South Manchester, her classes are suitable for beginners and improvers.
The iYengar method of yoga is accessible to everyone and no two classes are the same. It focuses on correct alignment of the body ensuring you work safely, with maximum benefit bringing flexibility, strength and wellbeing to your body and mind. Props are used to make the poses possible for all students and to help maintain postures safely for a longer time. Props include the familiar blocks, bricks and belts but also bolsters, blankets, chairs and wall ropes. Postures include standing, sitting, twists, backbends and inversions - not all in one class!
Sarah has been teaching since 2015 at Introductory Level 2.
12.00-13.00 at the Karate School in Cheadle Hulme, a more gentle class suitable for all ages, basic equipment is provided, please bring a blanket if you have one and your own mat if you prefer. 60 mins £8, cash on the day.
9.30-11.00 at Studio 3, Level 1, suitable for beginners. All equipment provided, 90 minutes, £12 drop-in.
12.15-13.45 at Total Fitness in Handforth, Level 1, suitable for beginners, basic equipment provided. For members only.
18.00-19.20 at MDIY, Beginners, all equipment provided, 80 minutes, £6.50 drop-in, £6 for members.
18.30-20.00 at Studio 3, Level 1, suitable for beginners. All equipment provided, 90 minutes, £12 drop-in.
10.00-11.15 at Studio 3, Stretch and Relax (alternating with another teacher). All equipment provided, 75 minutes £12 drop-in
