Sue came to Yoga in 1986 and soon became aware of the deeper and more subtle effects of Yoga. However the raising of her family alongside her career as a Registered Nurse took up her time and her Yoga practice remained in the classroom.
Following an illness in 2000, she began to use the tools of yoga as a means of healing, developing self awareness whist exploring both her personal and spiritual growth. This led her to undertake the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) Teaching training Diploma in 2003 and she continues to teach group classes, individuals and hold yoga retreats.
In 2007 she completed the BWY Meditation Module, held by Gill Lloyd and Sarah Ryan which led her to the teachings of Professor T. Krishnamacharya and his son TKV Desikachar, co-founder of The Krishnamacharya Healing Yoga Foundation.(KHYF). Gill Lloyd is her mentor and Sue is indebted to all her teachers for their guidance and wisdom.
Sue believes Yoga is for everyone, what ever their level of wellness
She undertook further training with the KHYF and is now a teacher in this tradition.
