About SavingGraceYoga

Strong Body . Calm Mind . Peaceful Heart .

Welcome to Saving Grace Yoga, I am a qualified Hatha yoga teacher 200hr (distinction) also qualified in Zen yoga and Yin yoga along with an intensive Pranayama diploma. . Classes at SavingGraceYoga are a Hatha Fusion – often adding a little Tai Chi/Qigong/Vinyasa/Zen/Kundalini and free movement to our general Hatha practice.

Due to demand coming back out of lockdown, we now have 2 classes dedicated to slowing ourselves down and generating peace and calm. These classes will be a mix of Gentle yoga, Restorative yoga, Yin yoga, meditation, relaxation, chant and sound.

I absolutely and truly believe that yoga is for everyone and anyone, there is absolutely no requirement to be young, thin, flexible, female or fully able bodied to enjoy the myriad benefits of yoga meditation and relaxation. With a consistent practice yoga can provide you with the tools to learn to live a life of balance.

At Saving Grace Yoga our classes are kept reasonably small to ensure individual attention and a more intimate atmosphere; alongside that we aim to keep the cost as low as we are able, hoping that makes it attainable for as many people as possible. There are approximately 12 spaces available per class with the cost per space being £39 for 6 weeks paid in advance (£6.50 per session). Should you want to drop-in the session price is £9 however, please contact prior to attending as a space cannot be guaranteed.

Due to Covid we are no longer able to provide equipment.

Classes are in the beautiful surroundings of The Box Moor Trust Centre in Boxmoor in London Road Hemel Hempstead HP1 2RE

The class consists of approximately 40 minutes of asana (posture/pose) and 20 minutes of meditation and relaxation

Beginner/Advanced Beginner/Intermediate     Wednesday 6-7pm Yin/Restorative/Light/Meditation                                                Wednesday 7.15 - 8.15pm Hatha Fusion
Thursday 6-7pm Yin/Restorative/Light/Meditation
                                                                                    Thursday 7.15-8.15pm Hatha Fusion

I also teach private clients.

I’m a 22 year old lad and I’ve been doing the Men’s yoga class for the past year now I tried the joint class but figured the Men’s class was more geared towards me, great class, do a lot of hamstrings and groins as that’s where most of us are tight! Thoroughly enjoy this class as we have a laugh and there’s always banter whilst we do our exercises. Feel better for going and would recommend it to any guys who might be a bit anxious about doing yoga. The meditation and relaxation is something to look forward to at… Read more »

I have been going to Debbie’s yoga class for over a year now. I never thought I would want to go to Yoga week after week but it has become a highlight of my week. I have noticed changes in body and mind. Last night we did half of our class with blindfolds on to raise awareness and money for the RNIB – was strange but interesting and such a good idea. Debbie has the most calming voice through relation and I can’t believe how much I’ve come on this year – you really notice how much your body can… Read more »

I have been attending the Thursday class for over a year and really enjoy Debbie’s teaching style and mindfulness. The setting is lovely and as well as invigorating relaxation we often do strong stretches and flows. As you progress you can really see a difference in flexibility and body toning. I also like to think this it is making look at life differently but in a good way. Love yoga.

A beautiful yoga class with great meditation and relaxation. Debbie is a wonderful teacher who makes you feel at ease from the moment you step on the mat, with her calm and encouraging approach. I have been attending her classes for over a year now and would throughly recommend it for beginners and intermediate yogi’s. Namaste
