Luisa Lyons Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga

I’m an experienced midwife, qualifying in 2001. I have worked in the NHS all my life since the age of 18 and continue to work as a specialist midwife in Tongue Tie at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. I am also a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and qualified in 2006. After enjoying yoga myself for the last 9 years I took the plunge in 2017 and trained as a pregnancy and postnatal yoga teacher with Sally Parkes Yoga.

I am pleased to offer classes in Dereham, Norfolk. I currently offer a pregnancy class at Dereham Leisure Centre and a Postnatal mums-only chillout yoga session at Dereham Junior Academy School. Pregnancy classes are suitable from 12-42 weeks gestation and postnatal classes are suitable from 6-10 weeks after birth depending on the type of birth you have had. I aim to offer inclusive, friendly classes where you can connect with your baby, your breath, your mind and your body.

In addition, I am now offering Maternity Yoga Retreat days in Norfolk with my friend and colleague Victoria Barnes as Norfolk Maternity and Women’s Yoga Retreats.
