Mixed-ability viniyoga group classes based on the teachings of Krishnamacarya and his son, TKV Desikachar. Viniyoga is an approach that uses modifications and adaptations to suit individual needs. We work closely with breath to enhance postures and move in a meditative way. Beginners are welcome. Classes are one and a half hours long and consist typically of asana (postures) and pranayama (seated breathing practices); sometimes meditation and chanting are also included.
One-to-one lessons are particularly suited for therapeutic needs as well as for personal development.
