One of the aims of Gentle yoga is to listen to how movement feels, developing body and breath awareness whilst staying within our comfort zone. Even when we set a target to achieve a goal, we engage with what is happening in the moment. This is mindful yoga , we slow down and find space for nourishment, movement is designed so that the journey into and out of a pose, contains its essence.
Wherever you are on your yoga journey, however stiff or flexible, with Gentle Yoga you experience something of the essence, of asana, a sense of ease in the poses. Classes are designed with multiple options to make this practise just right for you.
In Relax and Restore classes
We begin with gentle movement and breathing exercise, peacefully calming mind and body. Adding in flowing yoga moves to develop core strength and improve flexibility. Unwinding into a relaxation/ Yoga Nidra reflecting on Seasonal beauty .
Sun Flow yoga, is a gentle warming class ideal for the morning. We begin with awakening the muscles through gentle movement and breathing exercise, peacefully calming mind and body, helping release tension. Then we add flowing yoga moves to develop core strength and improve flexibility. Multiple options are available to make this a practise just right for you. We wind down to a relaxation/ Yoga Nidra reflecting on seasonal beauty.
My 90 minute Relax and Restore class, is a nourishing class blending philosophy with yoga, asana, pranayama and bandhas to dive deeper into our yoga practice. We begin with gentle movement and time for classical pranayama /breathing exercise, unwinding tension, peacefully calming mind and body. Adding some flowing yoga moves to develop core strength and improve flexibility. Multiple options are available to make this a practise just right for you. We wind down to Yoga Nidra reflecting on the of the beauty of the Season.
My Yoga Nidra Specials, are, one off workshops, a journey into stillness where we come home to our essence. A blending of Mantra, Breathwork, Meditation and Yoga Nidra.

Thalia’s Gentle Yoga is great for everyone – from absolute beginners to seasoned participants. She encourages you to follow your own body’s capabilities without pushing too far, whilst extending your scope. I always come away from a class feeling wonderfully relaxed and revitalised.
