Yoga includes breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures (‘asanas’) which target the deep muscles of the back, abdomen, hips, legs and buttocks, in order to strengthen and lengthen tight, weak areas and in turn improve flexibility and postural alignment.
