I’ve been practicing yoga with Florendia for over 2 years. It’s helped me keep my back in good shape and understand how I can maintain my body but also for my mind – to – know ‘all is ok at the moment’ -be non-judgemental with myself and others -welcome whatever may happen – good or bad – to BREATHE … especially feather breathing – put to good use the other day when driving along clogged up M3 . I Iove the pace, voice and poems, often about appreciating nature, of Florendia’s yoga session and being reminded to SLOW DOWN. THANK… Read more »
Thanks Florentia, that was sooo good I’m actually glowing! I think my body really needed that and my mind certainly did!

Steve and I have been really enjoying the yoga and my shoulder is so much better so it’s been great to be able to do a little more every time.
Thanks Tracey, you and Steve have been so consistent with turning up for practice the past 2 years , it’s been such a pleasure to teach you
Florendia’s classes revitalise me. They offer my body flexibility, they relieve my mind of chatter, restore my energy and give me a sense of achievement and hope. Running through the core of every session is deep focus on mental and emotional wellbeing In her classes I appreciate: – Gems of wisdom, fittingly shared at appropriate moments in the practice. – Subtle guidance on living life with mindfulness and respect for one’s own being. – Her ease in teaching breathing modalities that calm the nervous system that are also useful tools for getting to sleep. The subtle confidence running through Florendia’s… Read more »
I thought I knew how good Florentia was as a yoga teacher after practicing with her online regularly (but across an ocean) during 2020 and 2021. I found out how really good she is as soon as she went on holiday this month. The local studio I tried as a replacement took me through the asanas, yes…but without the heart and soul that Florentia brings to the practice. She does not preach. Far from it. But she encourages mindfulness and reflection while simultaneously guiding us gently and sensibly through poses. She is a treasure.
I’ve always really enjoyed Florendia’s classes, whether that be in a local hall, in her studio, or online! She brings such a calm attitude with it, and you can’t help but follow the soothing intonation of her voice. She runs classes for many different age groups, and my son thoroughly enjoyed some of her classes whilst we were in lockdown.
Florendia is always quick to notice if your mind has wandered, and will bring you gently back into the practise!
