At Bluebirds we specialise in the wellbeing of pregnant women and those who have recently given birth.
Our prenatal classes offer an hour of uninterrupted 'me time', helping to quiet the mind and focus on yourself and your baby. We use lots of gentle stretches that are all designed to improve any pregnancy related aches and pains, as well as encouraging the body in to opening up in preparation for giving birth. There is also a lot of focus on different breathing techniques and meditations that will assist you through your pregnancy, during your labour and beyond.
Our Postnatal and Mother and Baby yoga courses both offer a very gentle way for new mums to get back in to exercise after the birth of their baby. We spend lots of time looking at how the body has changed through your pregnancy, and how to help it rebuild and restore in a safe and healthy way.
The Mother and Baby Yoga course also offers a wide range of stretches, songs and nursery rhymes for your little ones, so you can both really enjoy this time together. An hour of baby yoga can offer the same amount of stimulation that a whole day of handling and being played with can provide.
