Amanda Robb Yoga. I run two different styles of yoga class in the village of Steventon, Basingstoke, Hampshire.
The Gentle Yoga classes are especially designed to be accessible for those at all levels of health and fitness. Using the practice of yoga we can increase strength, enhance flexibility and improve balance. Each class comprises a gentle, chair based warm-up and breathing exercise, followed by some seated, standing, and floor based postures. The class ends with a calming relaxation exercise, to leave you feeling relaxed but energized.
For those looking for a more general practice I run mixed yoga ability classes, a Hatha style lesson suitable for beginners and intermediates. Each class comprises a breathing exercise (pranayama), physical yoga asana practice including flow sequences and a guided meditation practice. The aim of the class is to allow students to leave feeling calm and relaxed.
