I’m a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher running relaxed and friendly classes in Jesmond. All levels welcome.
Iyengar yoga is a safe form of yoga which offers the opportunity for improved flexibility, strength and balance, better overall physical health and well-being. When practiced regularly you really will notice improvement in these areas.
I hold a Level 1 Iyengar yoga certification, having qualified in the summer of 2018 after practicing yoga for 16 years. All Iyengar yoga teachers have to complete intense and robust training which ensures, as teachers we can adapt the poses for all levels and assist in adjusting those with physical challenges.
Classes run weekly: Mondays 6.30pm, Wednesdays 6.30pm, Saturdays 10am

I adore Rachel’s yoga classes .My balance and posture has improved so much !
The classes are friendly and allow all progress at their own pace.
Rachel is very knowledgeable about variations for all body and ability variations always ensure we keep ourselves safe .
I’ve been taking classes with Rachel for a few years, and honestly, she’s amazing. She pays attention to your alignment, makes sure you’re comfortable, and always encourages you to go at your own pace. And she’s not just a great teacher, but also a genuinely lovely person. You can’t go wrong with the her!
Rachel runs a really excellent Yoga class. She manages to accommodate all skill levels and takes the time to know our individual strengths and weaknesses. Incredibly encouraging, she makes yoga a real measure to do . Cant recommend enough !!
