About Yoga Vata

I offer restorative Vinyasa and Hatha Flow Style Yoga and Wellbeing Coaching in Hampshire for a truly holistic approach to Wellbeing. I trained with Sally Parkes Laxmi Yoga 200 hr Teacher Training which focuses on energising the body without exhaustion, breathing techniques, correct alignment and a deeper understanding of the mind-spirit- body connection of yoga.

I am an ICF Registered & Qualified Personal & Executive Coach, Yoga Alliance Member, trained Therapeutic Massage therapist and Colour Me Beautiful Style & Image Consultant. I have studied Anatomy & Physiology and Nutrition extensively and have had a life long interest in Health and Wellbeing. I am currently completing an Msc in Personalised Nutrition.

Yoga for me has been a very personal journey and I have learnt more in private yoga sessions than I have in years of yoga classes and now as a teacher myself I believe it is a really worthwhile investment and can leave you feeling rejuvenated – like you have had a mini spa break! My private yoga sessions are 90 minutes in length and are tailored to your personal needs. I guide you on the correct breathing techniques, postures, alignment and offer guided meditation and a relaxation session at the end. They can also be combined with a wellbeing coaching session for a really holistic approach to your wellbeing.

Private sessions can also be shared with a friend or partner and can be a great way to support each other on your wellbeing journey. I can instruct you on special stretching techniques that you can work on together to increase your flexibility and enhance your yoga practice.

I run classes at Alton College in the evenings. All can be booked online at www.yogavata.co.uk and there is a special discounted trial offer ( see below)

CoreFlex Yoga for core strength and flexibility –
Monday at 7pm.
Beginners Yoga – complete beginners welcome. Thursdays at 7pm
Book NOW to reserve your place.
The two evening classes are at a special trial rate of £5 for your first sessiom. Limited to 12 places per session so book early to avoid disappointment.

I can also offer Well-being coaching and yoga outside of the Hampshire area via Skype and online tutorials.

If you have a preference for a class at a different time or a favoured location please email me your requirements and I can consider adding it to my future venues.

I also offer bespoke classes for special events, businesses, retreats, spa’s and hen weekends please contact me to discuss your requirements.

Jayne’s classes are always fantastic – be it a group session, or a 1-2-1, Jayne will always have me feeling refreshed and invigorated! Her patient and knowledgeable approach is so encouraging, and has enabled me to really push myself. I can’t recommended Yoga Vata enough – thank you Jayne!
